The Pagan Origin Of Easter
Easter is a day that is honored by nearly all of contemporary Christianity and is used to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The holiday often involves a church service at sunrise, a feast which includes an "Easter Ham", decorated eggs and stories about rabbits.
Those who love truth learn to ask questions, and many questions must be asked regarding the holiday of Easter.
Is it truly the day when Jesus arose from the dead? Where did all of the strange customs come from, which have nothing to do with the resurrection of our Savior?
The purpose of this tract is to help answer those questions, and to help those who seek truth to draw their own conclusions.
The first thing we must understand is that professing Christians were not the only ones who celebrated a festival called "Easter."
"Ishtar", which is pronounced "Easter" was a day that commemorated the resurrection of one of their gods that they called "Tammuz", who was believed to be the only begotten
Three Meetings: Ch 1 (Prime Verse)Stardate 2947.3 (1/2267)
One of the base’s lounges
Kirk took a deep breath, his mind going back over the whirlwind of activity that had been happening
over the past few days.
During a sudden ion storm, the Enterprise has sustained considerable damage and gone to Red Alert.
That had been bad enough, but during the alert he had been forced to make the gut wrenching decision
to eject a research pod containing one of his officers, Lieutenant Commander Benjamin Finney,
to prevent the destruction of the ship.
The Enterprise had made its way to the closest base, Starbase 11, for repairs. And that’s when
things had truly been thrown into a tailspin.
The station commander, Commodore Stone, while reviewing the ship's records had seemingly discovered
that Kirk had ejected the pod while the ship was at Yellow Alert and not yet in serious danger.
Worse Stone had researched and uncovered the complex relationship between Kirk and Finney.

Book of RevelationBook of Revelation
I looked, and there before me was a pale horse. Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Along with this came the creation of existence itself, and existence goes hand in hand with life. Once life came along, God created Death as its foil. And God saw that it was good.
God didnt need to create all of the negativity in existence, but He did nonetheless. Nor, for that matter, did God need to create the positive side of life, but he saw fit to do so. He did these things simply because He wanted to. However, certain embodiments were beginning to wonder why he insisted on creating those that fit into neither category. The forces of nature, as some call them, could act on their own without a physical embodiment controlling them, y
The Violation: Ch 10 (A Simple Gift)
4th day of the 10h month (August: Earth calendar)
See’a and Lairo’s Quarters
“Well someone is very excited today,” Lairo said with an amused grin.
“I am!” Mareesa replied.
After traveling for another month, the Havora was now about thirty six light years from Nlia
and about halfway between the planets Benecia and Planet Q, both of which contained large Earth
colonies. They were scheduled to arrive at Zornek Station the following day and Mareesa was beside
herself with excitement and anticipation.
See’a smiled and rubbed her stomach. Six months into her pregnancy, her belly was beginning to swell.
“I think your excitement’s catching. My little one’s moving around a lot.”
Mareesa quickly moved over to her. “Can I feel?” At six months one could begin to feel a child physically.
At See’a’s nod, Mareesa placed her hand on the expectant mother’s stomach and grinned as
Nlian RoguesNlians are, for the most part, a gentle and peaceful race, well known for their caring nature.
There are exceptions to every rule however, and Nlia has had rogues.
There has been very little crime on Nlia. This is a race whose entire culture is based on sharing and cooperation
and among a race of telepaths, dishonesty is especially difficult. This is also a race who throughout their entire history
has only had about a dozen 'wars' which amounted to little more than skirmishes between groups from two rival
tribes/towns/cities and with the worse one resulting in only about 50+ deaths. When the Nlians first entered space,
their ships were unarmed. They didn't develop an armed forces until a century later and needed to be taught warfare
tactics by another species (The Tkarites and Andorians)
Every Nlian is taught from birth to regard all other Nlians as their brethren and that to shed
the blood of a 'brother' or 'sister' is beyond heinous, a Kinslaying. To cause mental or emotional
